Programming Cancellation Policy
It is a priority of Grove City Community Library to ensure the safety and well-being of children and youth attending library programs. When there is inclement weather, the library will cancel children’s and youth programming according to the following guidelines:
-
When Grove City School District is closed or moved to Flexible Instructional Day (FID) due to inclement weather, all children's and youth programs scheduled for that day are canceled.
-
When Grove City School District is delayed opening due to inclement weather, all children's and youth programs scheduled before Noon for that day are canceled.
-
If the Grove City School District has an early dismissal due to inclement weather, all children’s and youth programs scheduled after Noon that day are canceled.
-
If the Grove City School District is closed, moved to a Flexibility Instructional Day (FID), or has an early dismissal due to inclement weather and an evening program is scheduled at the library, please check the Library’s website and social media or call to confirm if children’s and youth programs are still being held.
If you are ever in doubt about the status of a program, please call the library at 724-458-7320.
Please note that this policy does NOT apply to adult programs. Please call to check on the status of programs for adults.
Please note that if Bookworm Babies is canceled due to inclement weather sessions will be rescheduled.
